Professor Kristoph Ulrich Gabhood, Wanderer of the Void is a ranged Intelligence hero. A time traveller and Jarrett's closest ally, Gabhood is almost as mysterious as the High Lord himself! While he appears weak and harmless to his enemies, aeons of travelling the Void have granted the professor incredible powers of temporal manipulation, and his trusty laser pointer is always within reach. An excellent support, Gabhood can save his allies or suprise his enemies by taking them on a Wander back through time to where they were several moments earlier - for better or for worse! Gabhood's Geiger Counter helps detect enemies and warn him and his allies to make a quick retreat, and his Light Gates can be used to help research Gabhood's enemies. Gabhood's signature ability, however, is the Time Warp, which once activated summons alternate versions of Gabhood from both the past and the future. These Gabhoods are just as powerful as the original, and are certainly a force to be reckoned with!
While he may not be much to look at, the fiery-haired Professor Gabhood has managed to become Jarrett's closest ally in all of the Nine Realms. Despite his weak body, the professor's mind and ability to wander the Void has made him an excellent asset to Jarrett, and the two are close friends in addition to their professional relationship.
Originally hailing from the future in the year 2324, Gabhood was a child prodigy, becoming chief scientist of the Great Beacon at the age of only fourteen. The primary aim of the Beacon was one of research - Gabhood and its crew were fascinated by black holes and the secret behind their existence. So for several years now the Beacon had travelled the stars, orbiting black holes and making observations. It was on the Beacon that Gabhood's life was changed forever.
One day, the Beacon was visited by time travellers from the year 2014. While ordinarily this would not have been a problem - time travel having been perfected many years previously - one of the time travellers was none other than Gabhood himself. And then a third version of Gabhood turned up... Even then this might not have been a problem, but the Beacon was at that moment orbiting a supermassive black hole and the temporal distortion caused by this enormous ontological paradox was just too much. The black hole started to break up, threatening to engulf everything in its path, including the Beacon and all of its crew. In what may have been the most stupid act of all time, Gabhood flung himself into the black hole in the hope of nullifying the paradox. While it is unknown what happened to the Beacon, what is known is that Gabhood was not destroyed.
Instead Gabhood awoke inside the Void, the endless space that all black holes lead to. He had survived the descent and as such could now freely wander the Void however he wished. However, as he travelled through all of time he started to notice that some people seemed almost... familiar. During his descent into the black hole Gabhood had been shattered into an infinite number of pieces. While the original Gabhood retained his memories, these infinite other Gabhoods started new lives in other time periods, with no knowledge of their origin.
In 2014, one Gabhood met another Gabhood and the pair decided to travel to 2324...
Gabhood takes an ally or an enemy for a wander through the void, travelling with them to the point they were at a certain period before the jaunt. The pair vanish from the map and are immune to all damage while this is occurring. Gabhood will spawn next to the targeted unit after the ability's completion, regardless of his initial position.
Cast Range: 250/500/750/1000
Time Reverted: 2/4/6/8
Gabhood enjoys nothing more than a little wander through the Void.
Gabhood has modified his Geiger counter so that it can detect malevolent intentions from afar. When enemies are within its range it will alert Gabhood and provide all friendly heroes in the range with bonus movement speed and armour, proportional to the number of enemies within the range.
Maximum Enemies Detected: 2/3/4/5
Bonus Movement Speed per enemy: 5%/7.5%/10%/12.5%
Bonus Armour per enemy: 1/2/3/4
Gabhood never leaves the Void without his Geiger counter.
Gabhood sets up a Light gate at the specified position. These light gates provide an area of vision and True Sight, and cannot be seen by enemies without True Sight of their own. Any enemy who passes through the Light Gate will have data recorded about them, allowing Gabhood's team to exploit their weaknesses. This data will be lost when Gabhood dies. Enemies can destroy the Light Gate with three attacks once they can see it, but the Light Gate's duration is infinite.
Maximum Amount of Data Stacks: 5/8/11/14
Bonus Physical Damage per Data Stack: 10%/20%/30%/40%
Bonus Magical Damage per Data Stack: 5%/7.5%/10%/12.5%
Maximum Light Gates: 2/2/3/3
The Light Gates are an essential part of Gabhood's collection.
Gabhood uses his Void-granted powers to activate a Time Warp, summoning alternate versions of himself from past and present. These Gabhoods cannot be controlled, but they will always aim to defend the original Gabhood, intercepting attacks meant for him and attacking who he attacks. Alternate Gabhoods will continue to spawn while the Time Warp is active, at cost to Gabhood's mana, but they will not disappear when Time Warp is deactivated. There are three tiers of Gabhoods that can spawn, all with different stats, but they will always be the same level as Gabhood and have the same items as he does. Once the maximum amount of Gabhoods have been spawned, Time Warp will replace the oldest Gabhood on the map with a new one every time it spawns a new unit.
Time between spawns: 5/4/3
Mana cost per second: 20/35/50
Maximum Alternate Gabhoods: 3/4/5
Gabhood Tier: 1/1+2/1+2+3
There are thousands of Gabhoods scattered throughout all of time.
